Ann Richens, A.D.C.R.G., (AnRichens@aol.com) is an internationally renowned teacher, judge, and judge examiner of Irish dancing. Ann's partner is John Timm, T.C.R.G., 1993 Senior Men's World Champion. Richens/Timm dancer, Nicole Rankin, placed second in the Ladies (17-19) Competition at the 1999 World Championships. And seven students of the Richens/Timm Academy have performed in Riverdance. Ann has served in official positions of Irish dancing organizations including several years as the Director of the Mid-American Region of the Irish Dancing Teacher's Association of North America (IDTANA), Corresponding Secretary of the IDTANA, is a member of the World An Comisiun Oireachtas Committee and is a member of the North American Feis Committee's (NAFC) Irish Cultural Hall of Fame.
